Governance is the foundation of our B Corp status. It means we have legally and structurally anchored our accountability to everyone involved in our journey. This includes our team, customers, suppliers and the environment.

Our team is the heartbeat of the roastery. As a B Corp, we prioritise fair pay, career growth, and genuine wellbeing. We want to ensure that looking after our people is never an afterthought.

Community: Showing up for our partners
Community is how we support the people behind the beans. We partner with farmers globally and help our cafe partners build sustainable businesses. We also team up with other B Corps for worthy causes, like local beach clean ups.

Environment: Acting as stewards of the earth
For us, the environment is about more than just legal compliance. We are responsible for our impact across the entire value chain, from the farm to your cup. This commitment is why we are are also certified carbon neutral organisation by Climate Active Australia.
This dedication to the planet extends to our local community and landscapes we love. Last February, we hosted a screening of Takayna, a film highlighting the beauty and fragility of Tasmania's Tarkine rainforest. It was an opportunity to bring people together, spark conversations and support the ongoing fight to protect one of the world's last truly wild places.
We are also proud members of 1% For The Planet, where 1% of our total revenue (not profit) goes toward environmental causes. We’ll be the first to say we are not perfect, but we are committed to constant improvement on our sustainability journey. Richard talks about that in details here.
