In the highlands of Loja, Ecuador’s cultural capital, Mary Cielio Elizalde Ramirez and her family cultivate Acawa coffee varieties on their 1.5-hectare farm, “Granda,” named after her father-in-law. Shaded by Guabos trees in Puyango, the farm represents their family legacy.
