Frequently asked questions
Is there zero caffeine in your Decaf?
We can never guarantee there will be no traces. Every effort is made to ensure the removal of the caffeine from the beans.
What is your Decaf process?
You will find we have two different processes for our Decaf. We have a mountain water process which is the process of being soaked in water and decaffeinated through osmosis. We also have our Sugarcane Decaf process, this involves the caffeine being extracted from the beans using sugar cane and water, resulting in enhanced sweetness while preserving coffee flavours.
What makes Decaf Delights different?
Decaf Delights coffee are sourced from microlots that are processed in smaller batches similar to a Single Origin and decaffeinated using sugar cane and water.
What does 'Filter' and 'Espresso' mean?
This is when we specifically adjust the temperature when we roast the coffee to suit a filter style brewing method (examples like V60, Aeropress, pour over) or espresso style brewing method (espresso machines, stove top, Aeropress). However, there are no rules, so feel free to use the coffee with your own style of brewing.
Do you offer your decaf in 1kg bags?
